Starting her career journey as a certified nursing assistant at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, she dedicated herself to providing compassionate and attentive support to those in need. It was during this time that Brittany's unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others blossomed.
In 2009, Brittany pursued her educational aspirations and earned her Associate in Applied Science from Suffolk County Community College. Eager to expand her knowledge and expertise, she began her career as a registered nurse specializing in oncology and palliative care at Good Samaritan Hospital. Guiding patients through their most vulnerable moments, Brittany's empathetic approach and clinical proficiency made a lasting impact on both her patients and colleagues.
Driven by her desire to grow and challenge herself continually, Brittany transitioned to an inpatient surgical unit in 2012. Fueled by her unwavering dedication, she pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Delhi School of Nursing, further solidifying her foundation of excellence in patient care.
In 2014, Brittany embarked on a new chapter in her nursing career, joining the inpatient stroke unit. Little did she know that she would soon face the unprecedented challenges brought forth by the Covid-19 pandemic. Undeterred by the circumstances, Brittany fearlessly provided frontline care, demonstrating resilience and unwavering compassion in adversity
Throughout her professional journey, Brittany also invested in her education and personal growth. Pursuing her master's degree at Stony Brook University, she deepened her knowledge and expertise, becoming certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. This accomplishment not only solidified her commitment to advancing patient care but also positioned her as a trusted and highly skilled healthcare provider. Brittany is an active member of several professional affiliations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association. She is also a proud member of the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, a testament to her unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence.
